We started Disc-i in 2023 because we wanted disc throwers to throw farther and more accurately. The pose analysis runs on your phone.
Jonathan “Sam” Goldsmith
Founder & CEO · Creator of Disc-i
Jonathan “Sam” Goldsmith has played Ultimate Frisbee since 2006 and disc golf since 2014. He fell in love with the flight of the disc. Before Disc-i he was an iOS developer at Apple, Google, MyFitnessPal, and Diamond Kinetics. He also coached Ultimate, including a top-25 nationally ranked high school team and a National Youth Club Championship. He started Disc-i in 2023 to help disc throwers throw farther and more accurately.

Christina Casler
Head of Design & QA
Christina started playing Ultimate Frisbee in 2012 and currently coaches the University of California women's team. She leads design and quality for Disc-i.
Susan Goldsmith
General Counsel
Susan's been an IP and IT lawyer for years. She handles legal for Disc-i, and gives generally excellent motherly advice.
Liz D'Aloia
Head of Human Resources
Liz was HR Director at Office Depot and has founded a startup of her own. She handles people, culture, and community for us.
Rudy Valentino
Event Coordination and Social Media
Rudy is passionate about building great experiences through hard work, creativity, and genuine relationships. For Rudy, disc golf has always been about more than competition—it's about friendships, memorable rounds, and giving back to the community. Rudy assists with live events and social media for Disc-i.
Quinton Yap
Web Developer
Quinton writes and edits a lot of the site, mostly content and SEO. Often found playing beach ultimate in Alameda.
Pippen
Chief Disc Retriever
Good boy. If you're lucky he'll catch your throws. Hopefully he won't bark on your backswing.
